Young Artists - Concerto Concert

We return to the Stag Theatre for a stunning concert featuring four young artists. These players are carving out impressive solo careers and this concert is a wonderful opportunity to hear all four in a varied and exciting concerto programme.
Cellist Jamal Aliyev made his solo debut at the BBC Proms with the BBC Concert Orchestra in 2017 and tours widely as a soloist of exceptional talent.
Flautist Emma Halnan won the woodwind category in BBC Young Musician 2010 and delights audiences, performing widely with acclaimed orchestras.
Violinist Ionel Manciu began winning international competitions from the age of 11. He performs across Europe and is currently at the London Guildhall on an Artist Junior Fellowship.
Trumpeter Matilda Lloyd hails from Kent and won the BBC Young Musician brass category in 2014. She made her Proms solo debut in 2016 and continues to captivate audiences around the world.
